- we hunt the dead

Saint Paul
10 AD – 67 AD
Basillica of St. Paul Outside the Walls - Rome, Italy

St. Paul was an early Christian missionary and one the the most important men in the Christian faith.  His contributions to the New Testament are the oldest.

We were a bit confused at first as to where the saint actually was.  He is apparently beneath Arnolfo di Cambio's tabernacle in the middle of the church.

The Vatican found the tomb in 2002, and after further excavation unearthed a stone sarcophagus behind a plaque reading "Apostle Paul, martyr".

The sarcophagus has yet to be opened.

Factoid:    Unlike the 12 Apostles, Paul did not meet Jesus while he lived.
