Edward Estlin Cummings
October 14, 1894 – September 3, 1962
Forest Hills Cemetery - Jamaica Plain, MA

Edward Estlin "E.E." Cummings was best known as a poet, though he was also an artist and playwright.

His disjointed writing style and unusual use of punctuation and capitalization made him an important addition to the long list of accomplished 20th Century American poets.

Forest Hills encompasses over 250 acres, but with help from their readily available maps, any site you wish to see will be easy to find.

P.S. - IF YOU'RE GOING, DON'T MISS EUGENE O'NEILL LIKE WE DID!!

Factoid: The popular, non-capitalized "e.e. cummings" spelling of his name was never used nor endorsed by Mr. Cummings.
