Milton Bradley
November 8, 1836 - May 30, 1911
Springfield Cemetery - Springfield, MA

Milton Bradley began his professional career as a printer but was inspired to begin producing games in 1860 after his invention of The Game of Life.  He is considered by most to be the father of the American game industry.  The company he founded is still in business today.

We were extremely fortunate to have Jim lead us directly to this grave.  If you are not as lucky, though, it still should not be too hard to find.  Take note of the large, well-trimmed bushes to either side.

Factoid:  Milton Bradley setup and ran the first color lithography shop in Massachusetts.
